Colin Dockstader

With 12 years of experience and deep roots in Southern Utah, I help buyers, sellers, and investors navigate homes, relocation, land, and development opportunities. My approach combines local market intelligence, creative property storytelling, and a whole-property perspective built around clarity, relationships, and what comes next.

Colin Dockstader seated in a white chair, smiling in a black blazer and jeans.

Real estate is rarely only about a house or parcel. It often sits at the intersection of lifestyle, investment, timing, and what comes next. For 12 years, I have helped buyers, sellers, investors, and property owners across St. George, Washington County, and Southern Utah make those decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

My work spans luxury and distinctive homes, relocation, new construction, second homes, short-term rentals, land, development sites, and hospitality properties. With more than 200 sales and over $100 million in closed volume, I bring proven experience to each assignment while recognizing that no two clients, properties, or decisions are exactly alike.

My background in construction, hospitality, marketing, project management, and land use oversight gives me a whole-property perspective. I look beyond surface features to understand how a property fits a client’s life or investment strategy, how it should be positioned in the market, and where potential opportunities or complications may exist.

For sellers, that means combining market intelligence with elevated presentation, creative property storytelling, and a strategy designed around the property and its most likely buyer. For buyers and investors, it means asking better questions, examining the tradeoffs, and helping them understand not only what a property is, but what it could make possible.

I believe the best real estate relationships are built through clear communication, thoughtful guidance, consistent follow-through, and genuine care. My role is not to pressure a decision. It is to help clients navigate complexity, recognize opportunity, and move forward with confidence.

Southern Utah is also home. As a father of five, I understand that real estate decisions often support something larger: family, freedom, lifestyle, financial goals, or a new season of life. Helping people discover where they fit within this remarkable region, and representing the properties that make it distinctive, is work I am proud to do.

Colin was great in taking us to the homes we had picked to view and then, based on what we looked at, taking us to other places he felt could more suit our needs. He was very knowledgeable about the market and the areas in which we could get the biggest bang for our buck. He was very up to date in upcoming developments with neighborhoods, schools, and shopping areas. He was not pushy at all and was available to help whenever we called. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from a realtor.

We recently used Colin to purchase a lot and it was the smoothest transaction we have ever done. Colin really knows his market and was very quick to answer all our questions. He even did extra research for us to make us feel conformable with our purchase. We highly recommend using Colin for all of your real estate needs.

Colin helped us buy our first home. It was great working with someone that can explain things so clearly. Another big plus was that the paperwork was done electronically making the process much faster to get through since you can avoid differing schedule conflicts. He was always available over phone with any questions no matter how silly you feel about the question he would help us understand everything.
